My name is Jowellin Weinand, and im a Cape town base artist. I go by the stage name "Big B Forever 7405" . I consider myself an all rounder in the hip hop genre , but I mainly focus on my own personal style of rap that I'm introducing to the local scene known by myself as "CapeFlat TrapRap" ,soon to be introduced to the mainstream audience and more commercial platforms. This specific type of rap originates from myself and Im inspired by the lifestyle and culture of coloured people or just people in general living on the Cape Flats and surrounding areas, CapeFlat TrapRap is a mixture of two languages, that consists mainly of Afrikaans and English and is expressed in the way Capetonian people speak and live their everyday life, it brings awareness of our struggles in Cape town as artists and also the struggle that local (poor) people face everyday living in Cape town.
